It's interesting to see eruptions from people who have little or no faith in unleashing genius everywhere. This is sparked by the piece from Pacific Ecologist.

Welcome Shelby! Great to see you here on Transition U.S. and Transition Halifax. You highlighted in your profile that you have "... had the great pleasure of coordinating the Relocalization Network program for the last few years, supporting Transition initiatives around the world and helping people start relocalization projects in their communities...." -- Perfect! I bet we can find some really clever ways of introducing our two communities to each other... Ideas?

Speaking as the design of this social network, please feel free to let me know if Nova Scotia might be interested in setting up a similar network. I'm definitely interested if you know enthusiasts would also be interested.

Shelby, thanks for the note. Things are going well in Bellingham, except at the moment we're dealing with more flooding than I've ever seen in this county (the snow is gone).

Right on! Thank you. So you must be part of the Post Carbon staff? I wish PC's Relocalization network, Transition Towns, and BALLE, could pool efforts and work together! Wayne.
