How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Subtropical permaculture & organics, self sufficient in veg, fruit & seafood, simple living ethos, member of Slow Food Te Hiku, Tai Tokerau Organics, Transition Towns Kaitaia...
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
We are in a period of transition and need to cement values that are sustainable in this new world we're living in. We need to do everything in our power to save our planet and live harmoniously on this earth. Transition movement addresses and acknowledges these issues.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
Personally - long time advocacy for the earth, healthy soil & healthy food & energy directed over the past 35 years towards addressing these issues.
The value of festivities & earth rituals to bring us together in celebration, whether family & whanau, or larger groups. Helping & supporting each other on the journey.

On the local scene, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider including a link to Transition Houhora in our registry of organizations, localities, companies, products, services, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create the link. That way we can introduce our two groups to each other. I'll be glad to help launch and build your link.
One more thing. It would be super to see your photo -- Click on Choose File and then follow instructions.
