How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?: Attended Transition Network Conference in England, April 2008. Currently participating with organizing CASA (Community Action for a Sustainable Alameda)

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?: Model of local resilience in the face of multiple crises with Peak of Cheap Oil at bottom.

How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?: Spreading the word, familiarity with the model.

Its aim is to raise awareness and motivate community action toward reaching the emissions reduction goals of the City's Climate Protection Local Action Plan. It includes in its Mission and Vision statements room for a far reaching goal of sustainability and well-being. I would like it to stay informed by the Transition movement. Stay tuned for updates.
