- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I am working to address our intertwined crises - housing, social, environmental, families under extreme stress and children not getting an education that will serve them or society - through my website and blog. I was fortunate to attend Bill Aal's Transition training in October 2009.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- In the rubble of the collapsed economy, we will find the collective will to make the changes necessary to bring opportunity to everyone, as originally espoused by William Strauss and Neil Howe in Fourth Turning. To the extent that we try to survive this collapse individually, I believe that we will suffer needlessly. As we learn to work together, to bring forth nature's bounty, and rely on each other for support, we will flourish.

Thanks for your nice note. My website hasn't been updated for years, so it's nice to hear that people are still finding something of value there. Soon after I put it online, we found the property for the White Horse Retreat, and it was all outside work from then on.
I'd love to share that story with you. Once the taxes are done, I'll sit down and write it out. Better yet, maybe we can meet in person at some point. What fun! Feel like having a Colorado vacation?
