"Dear Tim
Not sure I buy this transition site altogether - more of the same ... ?
It looks a little messy ...
Our CEN site was certainly not "disparate" as CES is our focus, I imagine - a lot cleaner ...
Anyhow, I'll…"

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I am involved with the local Transition movement and seek to promote local exchange systems in local communities
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
The Transition movement is about re-localization. This cannot be achieved with our current expansionist money system. For this reason localization is meaningless without local exchange systems that replace the dysfunctional money system.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?
The Community Exchange System (CES) provides the means for any local community to set up its own local exchange system and be part of the global Community Exchange Network.

Welcome Tim. Great to see your interest in Transition! [[sample of our welcomes]]
http://transitionus.ning.com/group/communityexchangesystemces is your link to CES. Feel free to join in in the activities. Use the COMMENT WALL to say Hello to the others. Reinforce the good things they are doing. Mention something you're interested in. Ask a question. Start a discussion. Let me know if you would like to be an Admin on this page to help build and maintain your group's Resume. Have fun!
One more thing, does CES have a website, or blog, or listserv, or Facebook, or Meetup? If so, it would be enlightening to all our members if you would consider adding a link to CES in our registry of organizations supporting Transition, Sustainability and local currencies -- http://transitionus.ning.com/groups/group/new. Let me know if you have questions about the details.
