Hi Wren,

I sent you a friend request, but the message had to be quite short.  Just wanted to introduce myself, another Prescottonian.  I live over by White Spar and Copper Basin and have quite a few urban sustainable projects going, all with a transition town motive behind them.  I have chickens, greenhouse, gardens, rain water catchment, solar projects and an electric vehicle that I putz around town in - it has a transitionarizona.com logo on it.  Another project of mine is PrescottEggs.com.  I work over at Olsen's so you may see me parked in that area from time to time.  Anyway, please let me know if you would like to discuss a transition initiative here in Prescott.  I am know a handful of people who are of similar mindset, but as of yet, nothing is really moving forward other than me and a few websites trying to get some momentum.  Do you have friends that are interested in the transition concept?  Hope to hear from you.  My e-mail is scott@transitionarizona.com or if you want to chat, my ph is 928 458 5457.

Welcome Wren. Great to see your interest in Transition!

http://transitionus.ning.com/group/linktransitionarizonausa is your link to Transition Arizona. Feel free to join in the activities. Use the COMMENT WALL to say Hello to the others. Reinforce the good things they are doing. Mention something you're interested in. Ask a question. Start a discussion. Let me know if you would like to be an Admin on this page to help build and maintain your group's Resume. Have fun!

One more thing, does Prescott College have a Transition-supporting website, or blog, or listserv, or Facebook, or Meetup? If so, it would be enlightening to all our members if you would consider adding a link to Prescott in our registry of organizations supporting Transition and Sustainability -- http://transitionus.ning.com/groups/group/new. Let me know if you have questions about the details. Good luck with your course of study!
