How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?: I am in the process of learning as much as I can about the Transition movement and hoping to get something started in my area (St. Louis/Jefferson County).

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?: I believe we need to be more sustainable and I am concerned with how our current society will react to the current economic unstability and peak oil.
My husband and I made the move 3 years ago from an urban lifestyle to a life in the country. We have been blessed with great neighbors and great land for gardening and raising small livestock.

How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement? What can YOU teach us? What can your GROUP teach us?: By building awareness about the transition movement and developing a network with/for existing organizations and people that are looking to make a positive empowering change in the greater St. Louis area.

BTW, did you make sure that event was posted in EVENTS in Missouri transition site. BTW, we could setup a WORKGROUPS for missouri if you think the members there might like it.
