Add your climate/transition proposals to the MIT Climate CoLab

Please visit the MIT Climate CoLab where there are now 27 national and global climate proposals ranging from recharging groundwater supplies to reshaping the global economy. This is crowd-sourcing climate solutions so you can provide input to proposals and also add your own ideas as a new proposal. Top proposals will end up under the noses of policy makers in Congress and the UN. Here is the link to see and create proposals,…See More

"causality" as used in reductionist science is a badly framed concept. Yes we can discuss anywhere you like.

No, not at all. For example, an organism is closed to efficient cause. Yet it is changing all the time. It also can be changed by intervention which medicine relies on. I have extended this to Gaia which, in this sense is indeed an organism.

OK I signed up. Your interest needs clarification since the way we view complexity is the recognition that there are myriad closed causal loops that can not be synthesized. The alternative....where you can "get a handle on them" is the Cartesian reductionist world of machines or mechanisms. This is what has held us back for so very long.
