my particular interest?  establishing the relationships and living my life in my community as a more health-ecosystem, and with attention to layers of relationships necessary for that (including beyond the local-geography, but with an eye to informing the local)

 

what am I doing in chicago in that realm in particular and transitioning in general?  active in bridging tech/NPO sector and holistic efforts.   community organizing, also policy work -- trying to bridge grass-roots and policy under a practice of Open Stewardship

Thanks for the note. Having spent 30 plus years in residential development and building, the "old way", i believe in today's economic clime, "sustainable" or "resilient" or whatever term is used - is becoming more of a necessity to a family's survival and well being. Things are going to get much harder on all of us (that aren't connected to certain banks and brokerage houses - but i digress). So - its somewhat of backwards engineering what we know today, and what we need to know going forward.

All over? Nope, just beginning! LOL I am the primary person responsible to all Transition social work admins and members so I get around. See every change on every one of our 125 sites.
