what am I doing in chicago in that realm in particular and transitioning in general?  active in bridging tech/NPO sector and holistic efforts.   community organizing, also policy work -- trying to bridge grass-roots and policy under a practice of Open Stewardship

Thanks for the note. Having spent 30 plus years in residential development and building, the "old way", i believe in today's economic clime, "sustainable" or "resilient" or whatever term is used - is becoming more of a necessity to a family's survival and well being. Things are going to get much harder on all of us (that aren't connected to certain banks and brokerage houses - but i digress). So - its somewhat of backwards engineering what we know today, and what we need to know going forward.

hi len

good question

i think it depends on how much people value themselves, their families, community and planet

seems like that would be enough motivation, but it doesnt seem to be does it?

i am putting effort into a speaking tour, after turning my 1/4 acre suburban property into a permaculture shangri la, its the next task

i plan to visit the bay area

people who care need to step it up

what do yoiu think?

Greetings Jan. Great to see you here. ...Property conversion, permaculture, city neighborhood program, public speaking, media projects, planning speaking tour... You should be able to connect with lots of people who share your interests. I see you've already connected with David MacLeod. Enjoy.
