Mimic This! Project Dirt -- The Perfect Comprehensive Catalog for Dirters!

A warm July welcome to you Dirters!

Wow - July already, and summer has definitely hit us.  Wimbledon, strawberries and festival season all around!

As ever a weekly round up of the happenings right here on Project Dirt. Kicking off first with announcements:

  • JACK – is our new communities manager (now that Lucy has gone to Futerra). So please say a big hello to him and do get in touch if he can help you with anything.
  • GREEN DRINKS - it's the start of the month, so below you'll find details of various Green Drinks from around the capital, including Balham Green Drinks on Thursday where lots of people are expected (Mark will be there with bells-on!)
  • LOW CARBON ZONES – A big welcome to the GLA’s Low Carbon Zone programme and participants. See their page here
  • POOTER - Want to document insects and bugs through using your i-phone? Then click here and get spotting using Pooter ... an i-phone app from Tom.
  • TEAM LONDON SMALL GRANTS FUND – access up to £10,000 for your project. As long as it’s a voluntary project, you can apply.
  • SUGGESTED SHORT CC FILM FOR KIDS – Anna’s asking for your thoughts here.
  • VOLUNTEERING – Back to Earth Harmony Gardens in Tottenham looking for volunteers from 9.30am on tues, wed and thurs each week (nb - if you have an old web browser this link might not work).

If you need help to publicise your project or want any introductions made, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Jack. We’re here to help and are always more than happy to see what we can do to get your project heading in the right direction.

All the best

Nick, Mark, Jack and the Project Dirt team.
