MIMIC THIS! When you get invited to events 3000 miles away (or 20 of them just across town), use COPY & PASTE with the really interesting events to seed your own community's plans for similar events. Why start from scratch.... Beg, borrow and mimic! More....
Great to see your interest in Transition! Welcome to GLOBAL TRANSITION IN ACTION. You mention in your registration "...by sharing ideas on solar technology..." Great place to concentrate. You'll find many others here who think as you do. We look forward to sharing your experiences.
Please click anytime to join your neighbors in discussions and events. Click on any person's photo to say hello and find out more about their Transition interests. On the local scene, does lalitpur have a Transition-supporting website, or blog, or listserv, or Facebook, or Meetup? If so, it would be spot on for all our members if you would consider including a link to lalitpurin our registry of organizations, localities, companies, products, services, Twitterers, Facebooks, Meetups, etc. supporting Transition and Sustainability. Here's the page to create the link. That way we can introduce our two groups to each other. I'll be glad to help launch and build your link.
Great to hear from you.

Namaste Suman from the sunny Far North of New Zealand. I have travelled in Nepal some years ago - it is a beautiful country. I see your interest in solar. We have a passively solar-heated house, ie large floor to ceiling windows north facing & much insultation in walls/roof... use solar for some water heating, via alkathene coils rather than commercial panels - we are quite low tech!
