MIMIC THIS! When you get invited to events 3000 miles away (or 20 of them just across town), use COPY & PASTE with the really interesting events to seed your own community's plans for similar events. Why start from scratch.... Beg, borrow and mimic! More....

Hey Jarrett, I'm just beginning to become involved in my Olympia, WA community with sustainable transitions via People for Puget Sound and the arts community. I'd be happy to do an interview -- let me know the details!
Hi Jarett, thanks for your friend invite (gladly!) and comment on the Peak Moment TV video I just uploaded here. I'm not entirely sure on where to post the material on TUS site, appreciate suggestions. You can find all 160 Peak Moment Conversations (and audios of recent programs) at www.peakmoment.tv/conversations. We also have DVDs from superb thinkers like Richard Heinberg, resources like an Intro to Permaculture. Prime material for Transitioners. ~Best~Janaia
Hi Jarett,
Appreciate your note; I apparently joined this site then promptly forgot! I also moved out of Illinois... but I am working on something that may create a nice handshake between us in the future. TBC!
No I do not know Will Allen well but have visited Growing Power at least twice. Will is on the board of the Urban Aquaculture group in Milwaukee and I am a permaculture advisor to that group but they have not been very active lately. We have talked about aquaculture issues a few times. Other than that I have no connection with Growing Power.
Jarett, looks like you are pretty dedicated to educating more people about Transition (or perhaps a broader or more narrow range of topics?). Bravo for that. I would welcome the opportunity to guest on a podcast. Where can I find your podcasts? I'd love to know more about your podcasts.
Actually, I'm beaten down man... I've got finals this week for my junior year of college, amongst many other matters of life, but my last final is thisThursday, so then things will start looking up!
Hi Jarret - just wanted to give you a thumbs up for your new podcast - I'm halfway through episode 1 as I'm typing this.
I've been listening to KMO for probably a couple of years, and your name (or that of your alter ego, rather) keeps cropping up there from time to time, but I haven't yet listened to B.L.I.T.A. However, when I heard the topic of your new show, I decided this was one I had to add to my iTunes subscriptions straight away. Looking forward to subsequent episodes.
Welcome Jarett! Great to see you here on Transition U.S. and Transition Illinois. You highlighted in your profile "... I'm interested in evolving our society towards a more responsible, self-sustaining, natural world...." -- As you read the Handbook and interact with your community, share some of your best practices with all of us. Judith thank you for that link! Probably would have found it eventually, but this is a bit overwhelming at the start! I'm playing catch up on over three years worth of activity!!!
Les, thanks for doing this man, I'll be talking with you soon!

Thanks for the note. I'd be happy to do a podcast. Just let me know when, where and how.
Happy 2010!
Naturally,
