MIMIC THIS! When you get invited to events 3000 miles away (or 20 of them just across town), use COPY & PASTE with the really interesting events to seed your own community's plans for similar events. Why start from scratch.... Beg, borrow and mimic! More....
Welcome recently added members. Check periodically to see if friends you have invited have joined.
I am thinking of you with much love and care flowing from my heart.
I'm here if you need anyone else to talk with during these times.
Love, kj (mamaka)

My condolences on the passing of Margo. I am glad to hear that you have a community that is holding you. We will all separate from our loved ones -- may we all be so fortunate to be held. ~Judith
Bill: Nice to see you still are following T Cascadia. Heather is helping me learn how to use Ning a little better. We definately need a facilitator! hint...Here is what I sent to Tamara. Would you be interested to be an administrator. It doesn't require any work.
Tamara: Heather is helping me with organization of Transition Cascadia. First change is that instead of me being sole administrator, I can share it with others (I didn't know this). You and Heather, Collin
and a few others can now initiate Discussion groups. Then hopefully we can stay on track and send personal exchanges to discussion groups. As soon as I find out other things you can do as administrator, I'll let you know. Thanks for all your time and thoughts. Happy Hoildays. PS. I hope as administrators we can make T Cascadia more effective and win back the folks we have lost and invite and help other smaller initiatives. And I am working out a way to create a library of our work and other important information. Not me alone. More later when I am more awake. Lane
Hi Bill,
Thanks for the note and the offer. After the presentations at the Bullock's on Saturday, Robyn and I will be headed to Seattle on Sunday and sit in as guest critiques at the final design presentations of a PDC. Perhaps you can come to say hello then? That afternoon/evening, we'll be headed towards Portland. Thanks again for the note, and perhaps we can still meet up somehow. My number is 909.802.9177

Bill: How did your training go in Seattle. I have had
hip problems and am having a problem running
two properties. If you know anyone who would like
to run a permaculture, organic farming and alternative
building program with Transition Towns thrown in,
please let me know. Here are the places. Our home

I remember, a few years ago, sharing communications with Tom Atlee (is he the Co-intelligence Institute?), but have not met nor heard the name of Jon Abbe.
You may want to encourage them to join the "Transition Eugene-Springfield & Vicinity" and "Transition Willamette Valley" groups on "Transition Oregon" at www.transitionoregon.ning.com and also encourage them to set up a transition group in their neighborhood ( I have set up "Transition Jefferson/Westside").
Welcome Bill and soon to be Transition Washington State! what a wonderful background. Great to see you here. As well as the other strong interest from the northwest.
We invite you to go to Starting Local Groups on Transition US and then to Washington State. Tell us a little more about what's happening in Seattle. Add your thoughts to the others from WA. This makes your group visible to other groups in WA and elsewhere around the world.
