MIMIC THIS! When you get invited to events 3000 miles away (or 20 of them just across town), use COPY & PASTE with the really interesting events to seed your own community's plans for similar events. Why start from scratch.... Beg, borrow and mimic! More....
Welcome recently added members. Check periodically to see if friends you have invited have joined.
Rees. Important Note. The TRANSITION WISCONSIN scan just sent will give you an idea of the diversity. However the DAILY SCAN will start tomorrow with the unique, new occurrences. Patience will be required, depending how much activity there is in your state.
If people are interested and want to take the time, one idea would be to hook a laptop up to your projector at Betty and Bob's house and do a live tour of the Racine's Transition in Action site and the Steering Committee page; to explain how it may be able to be used and benefit Transition Racine.
One downside might be that you always have to log in to see if there are any posts to comment on. I've only looked at it a little, but there are quite a few different check box setting for when you want to receive an emails. I'll have to take another look get a better sense of what they all were for.
I wanted to let you know that I just pointed Mark Rife, a new member from WI, in your direction.
Not being a member of the Transition Wisconsin site, I couldn't tell if you might already be connected with him. Mark is looking for others to connect with in his area.
Welcome Rees. Great to see another member from Racine. Be sure to go to http://transitionus.ning.com/group/transitionracinewisconsin and join the other Racine members. Rees Roberts has posted some good instructions. Feel free to join additional groups you wish to stay in touch with.

Hi Rees -
Nice chatting with you the other night!
I wanted to let you know that I just pointed Mark Rife, a new member from WI, in your direction.
Not being a member of the Transition Wisconsin site, I couldn't tell if you might already be connected with him. Mark is looking for others to connect with in his area.
