I'm new to the transition movement in general, although I know lots of people who are dancing around it and probably don't need much in terms of external stimuli before getting involved. But in researching, it's not easy to see how different local, online, and umbrella groups fit together. Seems what's necessary is a kind of "map" of the movement for how all of these groups fit together in a way that a newcomer/outsider could easily understand. Does anything like that exist? What my organization really needs is a logo. It is a medically oriented organization aimed mainly at physicians, and the logos of physician organizations around the world nearly always have a representation of a serpent and a staff: the so called Rod of Asclepius of Greek mythology, which had something to do with medicine. So if someone could design a logo incorporating these sympols and also a peak, that would be just wonderful. Here are some medical logos to illustrate what I mean:
