I know building consensus with the people on my street regarding what they see as important to their lives is a first step. I have lived in the neighborhood for 20 years and the bonds are weak due to the car and varied interests. This is very different from the reality of my childhood where I knew my neighbors and I had been in most of there homes for meals. The adult males would hold court at the trash can when they took the garbage out after dinner. I am pondering a joint activity to open lines of communication in a friendly non threatening way and to ask quality of life questions like what give you joy and what would life be like if that activity was no longer an option.

In the process of making a poster / pdf for this event, and I am seeing the logo that Transition US uses. Is that a logo that all Transition initiatives use or just Transition US?
