Was there a couple years ago and loved it. Whiteface mountain in the Adirondacks is also very accessible and has an amazing view. Last week you could see Montreal from the summit.

The park is more than the one mountain. We love to bicycle on the carriage roads artfully laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted.
